SHIPPING & RETURNS
Please note that we now are using APC couriers rather than the Post Office for the majority of all our orders. Please ensure that somebody is in to sign for your order or leave us delivery details in the customer comment box when you are in the shopping cart. It is also a good idea to leave us a contact number so that it can go onto your order so the courier can contact you about your delivery. If you would specifically need us to send to you via the PO, then we can arrange that but cannot guarantee as quick a delivery. Thank you.
For small items such as breather caps and low cost items we will happily send via the post in a jiffy bag to save on the high cost of tracked shipping. Please just ask and we will arrange this for you.
Orders to Highlands , Islands and N. Ireland are always a few days longer due to delivery options so please allow for this when you place your order.
International shipping is automatically set, but can vary widely depending on the item purchased, so in some cases you could be refunded any extra, or is some cases of large items such as fenders & bashplates the shipping quote could be more so you will be quoted before shipping.
We only ship using tracked,signed and insured services to cover us in the event of any loss by the shipping agent used!
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
You have the right to cancel your order and return your item within the quoted time frame of 14 days. Please notify us by email or phone' of your intention to return your item(s) by following the steps provided.
We will happily refund or exchange any item purchased on H&D Racing
We make no charge for returns - there is no restocking fee
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging
We cannot accept returns on clothing or any specific 'custom' item that has been personalised e.g. with name printing or special colours.
All returns must have a completed returns form
If the original payment was via PayPal we will credit the PayPal account or payment card that the order was placed with.
From 1 July 2021, all EU-based orders outside of the UK, will be expected to pay custom clearance fees when the order is delivered.
If the parcel is rejected on delivery we cannot offer a full refund, the return shipping costs and re-stocking charges will be deducted from the original cost. refunds will only be given when we receive the parcel back.
What does this mean?
Customers will have to pay UPS, (the parcel carrier) VAT % from the country of delivery to. (example France will be 20%) Plus a UPS processing fee.
What will the VAT charge be?
The VAT rate applied plus a customs charge applicable to the relevant EU state, where the order is being delivered to.
